I was born and raised in Ely and am so excited to return to the area! I’ve been living in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where I taught kindergarten, fourth, third, and nine years of second grade. I love having a classroom community where we all feel important and safe to take chances in our learning.

I’m mom to three sons; Nicholas(28), Sam (25), and Noah (14). My husband Staffan, Noah, and I moved back near Ely this summer with our dogs Oscar and Luna and bearded dragon, Herman. We really enjoy all the outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, paddling, swimming, and biking. We’re all looking forward to a quieter pace of life and spending more time with family. I’m excited to meet everyone and become a part of the NER community!
