Hi! My name is Christine Mackai and I teach 4th grade at Northeast Range School. I am so excited to be here! Northeast Range has been a part of my family for many years. All three of our children have either attended or are still attending this school. As an active parent, I have volunteered within many organizations and activities which eventually led to substitute teaching. It was at this time that my interest in education was sparked further and I decided to go back and obtain my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education through Bemidji State University. During this time, I also worked as a Reading Corps tutor which gave me priceless insight into the importance of literacy and early interventions in reading. Other education that I have is a bachelor's degree in agriculture from North Dakota State University where my love to teach science is also a passion that I have. With this solid foundation of education and a general love to be around students, I feel confident to be a part of a talented teaching staff at this school.
